Land Services USA, LLC, a National Title Insurance Agency has an opportunity for Commercial Title Closing Coordinators at our Media, PA location. Effective incumbents have experience in the Real Estate division in Law Offices, Title Insurance Agencies, Real Estate Underwriting Agencies or Commercial Real Estate Banking. Senior Real Estate/ Business Paralegals with strong experience closing complex commercial transactions are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will work as a member of an experienced team of underwriters, paralegals, attorneys, conveyancers and closers, and will have the opportunity to work on notable and high-profile commercial real estate transactions.
Required expertise in all aspects of Commercial Real Estate transactions include:
- Reviewing commitments and surveys
- Compiling closing documents
- Drafting title affidavits and closing statements
- Clearing title
- Utilizing advanced Microsoft Office Word and Excel skills
- Managing multiple transactions for multi-site and multi-jurisdictional deals
Responsibilities and administrative duties, under supervision of a Senior Title Officer, may include:
- Respond to Title Objection letters
- Draft Pro Forma Title Policies and Endorsements
- Interface with clients and Underwriting Counsel nationwide
- Clear Title Objections and Underwrite Special Risks, including:
- Clear Mortgages & Liens
- Review Organizational Documentation
- Conduct Mechanic’s Lien Risk Analysis
- Draft High Liability Applications
- Prepare Commercial Settlement Statements
- Coordinate multi-site and multi-state transactions
- Review all incoming files, order taxes, certifications, etc.; organize electronic files
- Manage complicated and difficult deals; accommodate clients but manage expectations
- Occasional travel may be required. Experience with Title Express, Qualia, and Interwoven-Worksite (or similar document management software) is strongly preferred.
Success in this position requires a candidate who is self-motivated and a self-starter; a detail-oriented team player. Exceptional organizational, time management and communication skills; strong computer skills (including proficiency with Excel) are vital for success. Ability to shift gears, multi-task and be flexible in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service is essential.
