We're seeking an enthusiastic and empathetic Care Specialist to assist families during their time of loss.
Responsibilities:
- It is an on-call position that provides on average 10-20 hour work week depending on the shifts and the work within the shift. These are not guaranteed hours due to the fluctuation of the need.
- Employees must be able to respond within 15-20 minutes on days that they are on-call.
- Duties include but are not limited to: meeting with families at their time of need, composing tributes of the pets, providing merchandise, inputting data into the computer, making contacts with families and vet's offices, processing payments, transporting pets from homes or vets’ offices, obtaining paw prints and fur from the pets, communicating with the cremation specialist, general cleaning and eventually answering the phones and making appointments.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Publisher or willing to learn
- Must have reliable transportation
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
