Defender Services is seeking a FULL TIME HOUSEKEEPING AREA MANAGER for 6 area schools that will supervise a team of 30 people who perform cleaning in schools.
Shift: Monday through Friday-11AM to 7PM-Must be flexible to come to work when needed-will work 40 to 50 hours per week
Duties:
- Hire and train custodial workers for schools
- Inspect performance to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform cleaning duties when short staffed
- Track supply usage and inventory needs
- Assist the Contract Manager in any assigned tasks
- Investigate and inform Defender Managers of any complaints or issues
- Check and maintain equipment and cleaning supplies to ensure compliance

Requirements:
- Highly motivated to pay full attention to detail
- Reliable transportation to work
- 18 years of age or older
- 5 years of Janitorial/Housekeeping Management experience preferred
- Willing to work in a school environment
- Willing to perform cleaning duties at any time
- Valid Driver's License to operate company vehicles
- Must be able to squat, bend, reach, push, pull, walk, stand and lift 30 pounds during the entire shift
- Excellent time management

- Willing to wear all required PPE
- Adherence to all safety protocols
- Must pass a drug test
- Must pass a background check
