Position Summary
Lincoln Electric Products Co. Inc. is seeking an Electrical Wiring Assembler to join its dynamic team. This role is available immediately and provides a great growth opportunity for the right candidate.
It is a full-time, non-exempt position, and the candidate will report directly to the Team Lead and Operations Manager.

Job Responsibilities:
· Component Identification: The wiring assembler is responsible for identifying and gathering the required electrical components based on engineering specifications and electrical drawings. This includes circuit breakers, fuses, relays, control panels, wires, cables, and other necessary components.
· Wiring and Connection: The wiring assembler's primary responsibility is to wire and connect electrical components within the switchgear system. This involves following electrical diagrams and layout plans to route wires, connect terminals, and ensure proper insulation and grounding.
· Assembly and Mounting: The wiring assembler assembles electrical components onto panels, enclosures, or designated structures according to provided guidelines. They ensure that all components are securely mounted and aligned for optimal functionality and ease of access during maintenance.
· Testing and Inspection: After completing the wiring and assembly, the switchgear wiring assembler could be asked to assist QC inspector in testing and inspections to verify the functionality and integrity of the assembled switchgear system.
· Troubleshooting and Repair: In case of wiring or connection issues, the switchgear wiring assembler troubleshoots and identifies the root causes of problems. They repair or replace faulty components, rectify wiring errors, and perform necessary adjustments to ensure proper operation of the switchgear system.
· Safety and Compliance: The switchgear wiring assembler follows safety procedures and regulations while working with electrical components. They adhere to electrical codes and safety guidelines, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize the risk of accidents or electrical hazards.
· Documentation and Reporting: The wiring assembler maintains accurate records of the wiring process, including wiring diagrams, test results, and any modifications made during assembly. They may provide reports and documentation to supervisors or engineering teams to ensure proper documentation and traceability.
· Collaboration: Wiring assemblers often collaborate with electrical engineers, technicians, and other team members to ensure efficient and accurate wiring assembly. They may provide input on design improvements, offer suggestions for better wiring practices, and resolve any technical challenges that arise.
Skills , Requirements and Specifications
· Wiring experience in custom products and the ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints is mandatory.
· Ability to use handheld power tools.
· Should have a good understanding of Electrical control schematic diagrams and point to point wiring connections based on information provided on blueprints.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and efficiency.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Demands:
· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 70+ pounds.
· Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced production environment.
Education:
· High school Diploma Must have
· Trade School or vocational school diploma is preferred
