Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of residential spaces. Your dedication to high standards will ensure our guests of Pursell Farms enjoy a pristine and welcoming environment every day.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential areas, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met or exceeded
- Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas by sanitizing surfaces and fixtures
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies with proper technique to prevent injury
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment for floor cleaning, outdoor work, and specialized tasks like carpet or upholstery cleaning
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide exceptional customer service
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and sanitation standards
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete duties promptly
- Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and outdoor work conditions
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents and proper usage protocols for different surfaces
- Outstanding customer service skills with clear client communication abilities
