Principal Functions of the Position:
To assist the Human Resources Department and Iowa management staff in coordinating daily activities related to human resources programs and procedures, employee relations, database management, and the retention and maintenance of employee records, while providing additional program and project support.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating and supporting administrative functions within Human Resources.
- Support recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of employees.
- Assist in coordinating employee relations initiatives and internal communication activities.
- Support document management and record retention processes in compliance with company policies.
- Assist in the implementation and administration of HR programs, policies, and procedures.
- Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries as needed.
- Maintain employee records and HR files with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to HR programs and metrics.
- Provide project and administrative support as requested by the Human Resources Manager.

Pre- Requisitions:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline or associate’s degree in similar field with HR Generalist experience. Previous experience and/or familiarity in supporting human resources activities.
- Previous experience and/or familiarity with face-to-face employee interactions.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality while exercising discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive employee and company information.
