NextUp Talent is recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing promotions and events company that's expanding its Houston Event Sales Team. They're looking for enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with people and are ready to explore a new career in sales, customer engagement, and live events.
You don't need previous sales experience to succeed. Full training is provided from day one, making this an excellent opportunity for someone transitioning between industries or seeking a role with greater variety and progression.
About the Position
You'll work at promotional events hosted in shopping malls, trade shows, exhibitions and other high-footfall venues throughout Houston. As part of the Event Sales Team, you'll represent nationally recognised brands, engage with customers, introduce products and services, and help create positive experiences that build interest and generate sales.
This is a hands-on role where every event offers something different, giving you the opportunity to build confidence, strengthen your communication skills and gain practical experience in a supportive team environment.
Pay: Starting from $800 per week, plus performance-based bonuses and uncapped commission.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist with setting up and dismantling promotional displays
- Welcome customers and start engaging conversations
- Present products and services clearly and confidently
- Answer customer questions professionally
- Help increase awareness of the brands you represent
- Support sales activity during live promotional events
- Maintain enthusiasm and professionalism throughout each shift
- Work towards individual and team performance goals
