We are currently seeking a full-time, experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician at our 400+ residential apartment complex located in Maple Shade, NJ.
Maintenance Tech Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Respond to all maintenance service requests by tenants, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance
· Ensure service requests are responded to and resolved in an efficient and timely manner.
· Diagnose and repair plumbing issues.
· Must possess strong skills in carpentry, tiling, electrical, plumbing and appliances.
· Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks to all common areas and units
· Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community areas daily and ensure excellent curb appeal at all times
· Prepare the vacant units for occupancy
· Communicate and interact with staff and tenants in a courteous and professional manner at all times
· Work as part of a team and represent the community in a professional manner at all times
Job requirements:
· A minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience at a multi-family property required
Plumbing experience required
· High school diploma/GED required
· Knowledge of mechanical systems
· Comply with OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times by maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
· Available for 24/7 emergency on-call service, on a rotating basis with the other technicians at the property
