Seeking a caring and experienced Medical Assistant to become an integral part of our growing medical/surgical dermatology practice. This is a full time position offering a 4 days per week work model.
Engagement with patients during consultations and follow-up visits.
Gathering patient histories and prep for examinations.
Accurately document patient encounters and medical procedures.
Assist in maintaining thorough and up-to-date medical records
Support dermatologists during minor surgical procedures.
Sterilization and equipment handling techniques.
Work as part of a team and individually, handling many aspects of further patient care
Experience in ENT, Surgery, Plastics or Dermatologic surgery is greatly preferred.
Must be an excellent multi-tasker.
Experience with Epic a plus.
Energetic hard worker with excellent interpersonal and written skills required.
Fast paced environment.
Must be able to work as part of a team and individually handling many aspects of patient management/care.
