CEG is seeking a detail-driven, accountable Quality Control Manager (CQM) to lead quality assurance and compliance on heavy civil and environmental construction projects. As a Quality Control Manager at CEG, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the Contractor Quality Control (CQC) program, ensuring compliance with federal standards, and maintaining complete, audit-ready documentation across all phases of construction.

What You’ll Do:
Quality Control Execution
- Implement and manage the Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Plan
- Serve as the designated Quality Control Manager on federal projects
- Conduct preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections
- Verify all work complies with contract documents, plans, and specifications
Federal Project Compliance
- Execute quality control processes in alignment with federal contract requirements
- Interface directly with USACE, NAVFAC, inspectors, and government QA representatives
- Manage submittals, RFIs, and quality documentation workflows
- Maintain compliance in highly regulated federal environments
Coordination & Issue Resolution
- Work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and field teams
- Identify deficiencies early and drive corrective action
- Enforce quality standards and stop work when necessary to prevent non-compliance
- Support alignment between field execution and contract requirements
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate daily QC reports and inspection logs
- Track deficiencies, corrective actions, and completion status
- Ensure all documentation is complete, organized, and audit-ready
- Support project closeout and turnover documentation
What You Bring:
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a construction Contractor Quality Control Manager / Contractor Quality Control System Manager / Quality Control Manager
- Completed USACE/NAVFAC Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) Training within the past 5 years
- Proven experience as a Quality Control Manager or in a similar role on federal construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction specifications and contract requirements
- USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) Certification
- OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications
- Ability to pass background checks and obtain access to military installations
- Requirement to travel 90%
- Willingness to work on active job sites is required
- Must have documented experience that will be submitted and accepted by USACE, must have or at least be able to get the USACE CQM certificate
Preferred Experience & Credentials
- Experience with heavy civil, infrastructure, or environmental construction
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
- Experience working on Department of Defense or other federal projects
- Experience in MS Office, ProCore, Bluebeam

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary $90,000 - $100,000 per year (commensurate with experience and location)
