Overview
Join our dynamic warehouse team as an Order Puller, where your energy and precision will drive the heart of our distribution operations! In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure that every order is fulfilled accurately and on time, contributing to a seamless supply chain process. Duties
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick items from designated storage locations
- Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse
- Perform manual handling tasks including lifting, stacking, and packing products while adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements
- Conduct quality control checks during picking and packing processes to ensure order accuracy and product integrity
- Prepare orders for shipping by packaging items securely and labeling them correctly for distribution
- Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking shelves, replenishing supplies, and updating stock levels in the warehouse management system
- Support shipping & receiving operations by verifying incoming shipments and organizing outgoing orders efficiently
Requirements
- Proven experience operating warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and order fulfillment procedures
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or materials handling preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with precision
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on quality control and accuracy in order picking & packing
- Commitment to safety practices including PPE use and adherence to manual handling guidelines
