Machine Operator
Full-Time
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Continually operate and monitor machine functions.
· Maintain a high degree of attention to machine waste, quality, and performance.
· Ability to analyze and solve machine problems.
· Follow company and machine safety protocols and guidelines.
· Direct assigned labor staff.
· Set-up machinery and ensure all production materials are available.
· Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed.
· Visually inspect production and quality of product.
· Determine and report malfunctions to appropriate parties.
· Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of assigned area and equipment.
· Assist in training of new operators.
· Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· General manufacturing equipment experience.
· Ability to use general warehouse tools and supplies.
· Basic mechanical tools.
SKILLS:
· Basic mechanical skills.
· Ability to work as a team member.
· Comfortable with multiple tasks at one time.
· Self-starter and dependability.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Be able to lift 50-60 lbs.
- Requires periods which continuous physical exertion is required. Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, bend, stoop, squat down, crouch, grab, lift, pull, push, stand and walk. Some equipment may be heavy and awkward to handle.
- Overtime when required.
