Position Summary
The Cheer Skill Camp Coach is responsible for planning and leading a safe, engaging, and positive cheer camp for students. The coach will teach fundamental cheerleading techniques while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, confidence, and school spirit.
Essential Responsibilities

Plan and conduct daily cheer camp activities and instruction.

Teach basic cheerleading skills, including motions, jumps, chants, stunts (as appropriate), and dance routines.

Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during camp activities.

Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all students.

Promote teamwork, discipline, respect, and good sportsmanship.

Maintain appropriate supervision of students at all times.

Communicate effectively with school administration regarding camp activities and student needs.

Follow all American Paradigm Schools and Tacony Academy policies and procedures.
Qualifications
-
Experience in cheerleading, coaching, or a related activity preferred.

Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.

Required clearances and background checks in accordance with school and state requirements.
Physical Requirements

Ability to demonstrate cheerleading techniques and participate in physical activities.

Ability to stand, walk, and supervise students for extended periods.

Ability to lift and assist students as needed while following appropriate safety guidelines.
