Pay: $25.00 if you do both shifts, $24.50 if you can only do one shift.

Saturdays & Sundays 9 am-1 pm and 5 pm-9 pm
San Diego Home Caregivers is seeking dependable, experienced, and compassionate caregivers. We currently have a Saturday split shift located in Chula Vista. Female client, ambulatory, but due to a fall, she prefers a wheelchair. She needs help with meal prep, toileting, med reminders, and getting her ready for the day; and in the evening, she will need help with her pm routine.
Requirements
- Caregiving experience (minimum one year).
- Registration with the Home Care Services Bureau is required. We can send you information on how to register. After completing the registration and having a cleared status, we can reimburse you for the application fees if you are hired.
- A current Tuberculosis test is required.
- You must also have a current California driver's license, car insurance, a clean driving record, and a reliable means of transportation. Our clients will need assistance with appointments and running errands.
Duties
- Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist clients with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals.
- Perform patient observation to monitor health conditions and report any changes.
- Support clients with mobility assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality.
- Uphold resident rights by treating clients with dignity and respect.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their well-being.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks as needed to maintain a safe living environment.
- Provide direct support in medication management as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist with driving and running errands.
