Duties
- Assist with site preparation including clearing debris.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor such as moving materials, equipment, and supplies around the construction site.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely to aid in tasks like framing or drywall installation.
- Carry out demolition or restoration activities including stucco application, plastering, or roofing support as needed.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction tools and equipment.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery operation, and heavy lifting techniques.
- Understanding of workplace safety regulations specific to construction environments.
- Competence in masonry, tile laying, flooring installation, carpentry (including trim carpentry), metal stud framing, roofing support, caulking, and stucco application.
- Familiarity with schematics and technical specifications related to construction projects.
