1st Call Security Solutions is looking for an AV / Security Technician with a solid foundation in low-voltage systems who is ready to take the next step in their career.
We're seeking someone with approximately 2+ years of hands-on experience installing security systems, IP cameras, access control, and structured cabling who wants the opportunity to grow into a Lead Technician role. Preferred Experience
Experience with some or all of the following:
- Security and alarm systems
- IP CCTV systems
- Structured wiring and network cabling
- Basic networking
- Audio/Video and media room installations
What We're Looking For
Our ideal candidate:
- Has approximately 2+ years of hands-on low-voltage experience
- Has experience installing security and camera systems
- Is dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Communicates professionally with customers and coworkers
- Is comfortable working independently while also being part of a team
- Is patient when training customers and answering questions
- Takes pride in clean, organized, high-quality installations
- Is coachable, eager to learn, and willing to embrace new ideas and processes
- Wants to grow into a leadership role over time
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass the background check required for a Texas Security License
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
