Maury Family Dental is hiring a part time (short term?) dental assistant.
Have you been considering a career as a dental assistant? Don't know where to start? We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, quick learner to train as a chairside dental assistant. No experience needed--we can train you!
Starting hours: M 7:45-5, W 7:45-5, Th 7:45-12,
Mid October (possibly sooner) add Tu 7:45-5 and every other F 7:45-12
**We have an employee going on maternity leave from mid October through the new year. She does plan to return in 2027. At that time, the hours would return to M, W, and Th or you can take your new skills with you to a new job. If she decides not to return, you can stay on in her full time position**

Responsibilities include:
- Welcoming patients and taking them back to operatories
- Preparing patients for treatments and ensuring their comfort
- Selecting and setting up instruments, equipment and materials
- Sterilizing instruments according to regulations
- Chair side dental assisting
- Performing lab tasks as instructed
- Providing oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keeping rooms and areas clean and well-stocked
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments (when needed)
