Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems like OpenTable or other POS platforms
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and reservations
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Background in culinary arts or kitchen experience is a plus for better understanding of menu items
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure seamless service delivery
