Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, common areas, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies.
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure a pristine appearance.
- Handle waste disposal by emptying trash receptacles and recycling bins regularly.
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as dusting surfaces, disinfecting high-touch areas, and restocking supplies like paper towels and soap.
- Assist with light custodial duties including window washing, surface polishing, and minor repairs as needed.
- Support facilities maintenance activities such as basic repairs or reporting issues requiring specialized attention.
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to ensure a hazard-free environment for everyone.
Requirements
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus; experience in residential painting or industrial cleaning is advantageous.
