Job Overview
We are looking for a part-time employee with a positive attitude that wants to be a part of a small, local business that continues to grow. Employee must be a team player that is reliable, has strong attention to detail, and works to maximize output. Candidate needs to be competent and work with a sense of urgency. No experience necessary. We will train the right candidate. Looking for 20-30 hours per week, but possibly more. Flexible hours available, nights and weekends, but initial training will be during weekday business hours.
Responsibilities
- Operate heat press equipment
- Accurately position and align graphics on various garment types
- Accurately receive, unpack and prepare garments for work orders.
- Fold and prepare garments for pickup or shipping after decoration
- Perform quality control checks on finished garments to ensure proper adhesion and placement of heat transfers
- Keep notes for future projects
- Any other duties that may be assigned to you
Qualifications
- 1 year experience as a heat press operator (preferred)
- Familiarity with different fabric types (cotton, polyester, blends) and how they react to heat and pressure (preferred)
- Understanding of production procedures
- High attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Must be able to stand for duration of shift
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs
- General computer skills
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
