Residential Master Electrician Requirements:
- Associates degree preferred in electrical construction or 5+ years of experience with mechanical and electrical systems required
- 5+ years of experience with test equipment to include multi-meters and digital analyzers required
- Proficient knowledge of building codes
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics and operation/product manuals
- Proficient understanding of Programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives, automation controls
- Proficient in use/knowledge of Microsoft Office

Residential Master Electrician Responsibilities:
- Assembles, plans, routes, installs, and repairs wiring and other electrical components and equipment necessary to install engineered control and security systems
- Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring or equipment using testing devices, such as ohmmeters or voltmeters to ensure compatibility and safety of system
- Connect wires to electrical components as needed for a complete and operational system.
- Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment, such as ammeters
- Place conduit, pipes, or tubing, inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes
- Responsible for personal and team safety on jobs. May include pre-task planning and tool box talks
- Assemble, install, test, or maintain electrical or electronic wiring or equipment using hand tools or power tools
