Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our dedicated mental health team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for patients of all ages, including children, adults, and seniors.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans incorporating medication management, psychotherapy referrals, and other therapeutic interventions.
- Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements.
- Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to mental health services for remote or underserved populations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including primary care providers, social workers, and therapists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, medication usage, side effects, and coping strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with current state licensure.
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth for documentation and patient management.
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology, including prescribing medications within scope of practice and understanding drug interactions.
- Strong assessment skills with the ability to evaluate complex mental health conditions across diverse populations.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms to deliver remote psychiatric services effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for patient education, team collaboration, and documentation clarity.
- Prior experience working in outpatient clinics, hospitals, or community mental health settings is highly preferred.

Pay: $101,036.75 - $121,678.66 per year
