Description:
Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting overall panel shop operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Receive incoming shipments of supplies and materials, verify accuracy of contents, and inspect for damage.

Process all incoming and outgoing shipments using appropriate shipping software.

Prepare and package outgoing orders per customer and company specifications.

Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely shipments.

Maintain accurate shipping and receiving logs and documentation.

Create shipping labels and documentation for outbound shipments
-
Prepare, ship, and manage LTL/Direct and UPS Shipments
-
Pick parts for new projects.

Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventories as scheduled.
-
Update inventory records and report discrepancies to management.

Monitor stock levels and report low inventory or overstock issues.
-
Complete inventory audits and ensure compliance with inventory procedures.
-
Label and organize stock items in accordance with safety and storage guidelines.
-
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
-
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards.
-
Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed, including stocking and order picking.

Schedule direct expedited shipments.

Perform additional duties as requested.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

5 years of experience in shipping/receiving and inventory control.

Familiarity with inventory software and shipping platforms (e.g., FedEx, UPS, ERP systems).

Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, inventory systems).

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

Ability to work well with a variety of others including coworkers, customers and vendors.

Ability to climb stairs.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Forklift experience.
