Job Summary:
Ignova Mechanical is seeking a reliable and detailed oriented Operator – Gasket Production to join our team. This role will be responsible for running die-cut, press, and laser cutting equipment to produce high tolerance aerospace gaskets to customer specifications and delivery schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate die-cutting, press, and laser cutting machines in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Create and manage daily job schedules to prioritize machine runs, optimize workflow, and ensure timely completion of production orders.
- Set-up equipment based on job specifications, including material selection, tooling, and machine calibration.
- Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout the production run.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting / issue resolution of equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area with adherence to all safety and housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify and implement process improvements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2+ years hands-on experience in operating die-cutting, press, and / or laser cutting manufacturing equipment.
- Experience creating and managing daily job schedules.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operation and set-up.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials (~50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results oriented, team environment.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments.
- Proficient with basic computer operations, preferably with familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000
