The Human Resources Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the HR department and helps ensure a smooth and positive employee experience across the organization.
This role assists with recruiting coordination, onboarding, HR systems administration, employee records management, and general HR operations. The HR Coordinator also supports employee engagement efforts including celebrations, recognition programs, and culture initiatives across the organization.

HR Operations & Records Management
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation within the HRIS system (UKG).
- Assist with employee data updates including new hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Support HR reporting, job description updates, and organizational chart maintenance.
- Help maintain HR forms, templates, and policy acknowledgments.
- Support HR initiatives such as onboarding resources, process documentation, and internal communications.
- Post job openings and coordinate interview scheduling.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Assist with offer letters and pre-employment documentation.
- Coordinate onboarding for new hires including paperwork and system setup.
- Ensure completion of required new hire documentation and policy acknowledgments.
- Assist with onboarding compliance requirements including I-9 documentation and new hire paperwork.
- Assist employees with basic HR system questions such as time punches or PTO requests.
- Support internal communications related to employee announcements and celebrations.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Help coordinate employee celebrations, recognition efforts, and office events.
- Assist with planning employee appreciation initiatives such as birthdays, work anniversaries, and milestone celebrations.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- 0–3 years of experience in human resources, recruiting, administrative support, or a relevant HR internship
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred Education and Experience
Prior experience in an HR department or HR internship setting
Experience with HRIS systems such as UKG
