This position requires access to technical data or defense articles subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment is contingent upon the applicant's ability to lawfully access export-controlled information under U.S. law.
Summary: Operates waste treatment, sludge processing units, including hazardous waste disposal, Stormwater Program, air quality monitoring requirements and OSHA compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Monitors control panels and adjusts valves and gates manually or by remote control to regulate flow of waste.
Observes variations in operating conditions and interprets meter and gauge readings and tests results to determine load requirements.
Starts and stops pumps, engines, and generators to control flow of waste through filtering, settling, aeration, and sludge digestion processes.
Maintains log of operations and records meter and gauge readings.
Collects waste sample for laboratory and regulatory agency tests.
Maintains hazardous waste program and all requirements as LQG.
Maintains air quality management programs and required documentation.
Implement, monitor and report all OSHA related rules and regulations.
Stormwater sampling and data recording.
Assist production team with routine cleaning related to process tanks and containment areas.
