JOB SUMMARY:
This position is a skilled, first-line supervisory position that must possess the skills to plan, organize, coordinate, supervise, and relay information between the Dispatch Center, school bus operations, school administration, and the general public. This position is responsible for ensuring that the coverage of school bus routes upholds the Transportation Department’s mission for safe, efficient, and on-time service of student transport to and from school. The position is responsible for ensuring that quality of high-volume radio and telephone communications meets the standards of the Transportation Department and School Division. This position performs work under the general supervision of the Dispatch Services Coordinator.
