We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with various store operations. Duties
- Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and assist them with their inquiries.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, processing transactions accurately and handling cash with care.
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting relevant items to enhance their shopping experience.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product offerings to provide informed recommendations.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized dining room, adhering to store policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Experience operating a cash register or similar point-of-sale system is preferred.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts, including basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Ability to handle cash responsibly and accurately while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn about products and services offered in the store.
- A team-oriented attitude with a commitment to providing excellent customer service at all times.
