Commercial Construction Project Manager
Brody Richardson Construction is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, financial management, and execution of assigned projects.
This position requires someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of a project. The Project Manager will work closely with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and field superintendents to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to BRC's quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules and critical milestones.
- Manage project budgets, costs, commitments, and financial performance.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work.
- Prepare and manage subcontracts, purchase orders, and subcontractor scopes.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
- Track material procurement and identify long-lead items early in the project.
- Conduct and participate in project meetings with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field staff.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with project owners and design teams.
- Work closely with the Project Superintendent to coordinate schedule, manpower, deliveries, inspections, and jobsite activities.
- Review subcontractor and supplier invoices for accuracy and project billing.
- Identify potential scheduling, cost, or constructability issues and develop solutions before they impact the project.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is being completed according to plans, specifications, contracts, and applicable codes.
- Manage punch lists, project closeout, warranties, and final documentation.
- Maintain accurate project records throughout the duration of each project.
- Help ensure projects meet BRC's standards for safety, quality, schedule, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous project management experience in commercial construction preferred.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, sequencing, and project management.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience managing subcontractors, budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a project team.
- Basic proficiency with construction management software, Microsoft Office, email, and digital project documentation.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
