American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with scrub and circulator experience, GE/Siemens equipment knowledge, and the ability to work every other weekend including on-call coverage.

Interventional Radiology unit at an acute care hospital in Boston, MA
-
Straight IR procedures only — no cross-training to other modalities
-
Procedures include angioplasty, TIPS, thrombectomy (PE/Stroke), and other angiographic interventions
-
Uses GE and/or Siemens imaging equipment
-
4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
-
Every other weekend is required
-
On-call coverage is required
-
13-week contract
-
Current ARRT (R) or ARRT (VI) certification required

MA Radiologic Technology license required if applicable

Current BLS required
-
Vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology required

Proficiency with GE and/or Siemens IR equipment
-
Scrub and circulator experience required
-
Preferred: Extensive thrombectomy device knowledge for PE and Stroke procedures

Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates

Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, TIPS, and thrombectomy (PE/Stroke)

Orientation takes place every Monday (excluding holidays)

Candidates who have worked at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility as a traveler, permanent employee, or per diem within the last 6 months are not eligible — a full 6-month separation is required before consideration

COVID vaccine and booster are required; flu vaccine is required during flu season; medical exemptions are accepted

Parking in the Boston area can be costly — candidates should plan accordingly
