Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate new business through networking, referrals, community engagement, and independent outreach strategies.
- Assess client eligibility and insurance needs by reviewing prospect information and comparing available health, life, and Medicare plan options.
- Clearly explain insurance plans, answer client questions, and provide tailored recommendations so clients feel confident and informed before enrolling.
- Accurately collect and input client information, ensuring all required steps are completed to confirm enrollment from start to finish.
- Provide ongoing follow-up service to new and existing clients, including policy changes, updates, and support.
- Participate in sales and marketing initiatives to support individual growth and overall performance.
- Maintain full compliance with all state and federal insurance regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active Texas Life and Health Insurance License (required).
- FFM Certification (Federally Facilitated Marketplace) with a minimum of 1 year of Marketplace/ACA experience.
- AHIP Certification with Medicare experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of insurance sales experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish highly desirable.
- Experience with HealthSherpa.
- Strong computer proficiency, including quoting platforms, email, and Microsoft Office.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
