Revere High School is seeking a highly qualified High School Theater/Dance Teacher dedicated to providing a superior education for all students. The High School Theater/Dance Teacher will teach elective courses for students grades 9-12 focused on the different elements of theater, technical theater, musical theater and dance.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Licensure in Theater All Grades and SEI Endorsement

Minimum of a Bachelors degree in education or related field; Masters degree preferred

High level of comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment based on frequent observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent computer/technology skills with the ability to utilize various computer software and app programs

Committed to the vision of high expectations for achievement, equal access to high levels of instruction, the achievement of academic and linguistic proficiency for all students, and the closing of the opportunity gap

A self-reflective, active learner capable of interactive dialogue with all members of the school community
