Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues across various systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct appliance repairs, including troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults to restore functionality quickly.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and future reference.
- Collaborate with team members to develop maintenance schedules and improve operational procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC, refrigeration, or mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of technical manuals and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex equipment issues effectively.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and related equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by construction or building maintenance experience is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an active approach to diagnosing issues quickly and accurately.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
