We at JJs World are looking for an individual with the drive to want to learn or get better at being a chef! We are in the market for a part time with chance of full time chef for our line!

Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
- Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure all food handling and safety regulations are followed at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage areas.
- Assist in menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
- Help in all areas if needed, including but not limited to dishes, taking trash out, bussing tables, etc.
Requirements
- Atleast 2 years of Proven experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen sanitation.
- Proficiency in various cooking techniques, knife skills, and meal preparation methods.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for culinary arts with an eagerness to learn and grow within the dietary department.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
