POSITION: Sr. Software Engineer
DUTIES: Design, develop, and enhance a mobile application using React / React Native UI
Engineering that delivers end-to-end functionality comparable to a web-based member portal,
ensuring a consistent user experience across iOS and Android platforms. Collaborate with senior
technical leadership, architects, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate strategic
modernization goals into actionable technical plans and align delivery timelines with enterprise
priorities. Implement modular front-end architecture patterns (reusable components, service
layers, navigation structures, and state management) to improve maintainability, performance,
and rapid feature iteration. Integrate the mobile client with secure backend services using AWS
Cloud Engineering and Microservices & API Integration, enabling reliable, scalable, and low-
latency communication between the app and enterprise systems. Prototype cloud-native solutions
leveraging AWS Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, and SQS to validate architecture decisions,
demonstrate feasibility, and guide implementation standards for serverless and microservices
deployments. Prototype and integrate AI-enabled features using ML/AI Engineering and LLM/RAG
Applications (including Bedrock and Textract) to validate architecture decisions and guide
implementation standards for intelligent workflows. Engineer event-driven serverless workflows
using EventBridge and asynchronous messaging patterns (SQS) to decouple services, improve
resiliency, and support real-time or near real-time processing requirements. Create and maintain
automated CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows by integrating tools such as Bitbucket,
Jenkins, Ansible, and deployment orchestration platforms to improve delivery velocity and ensure
consistent release practices. Implement monitoring and logging solutions using AWS CloudWatch
and leverage Python Backend Development to automate development and operational tasks,
support modernization initiatives, and provide guidance on troubleshooting across AWS serverless
components.
