Responsibilities
- Prepare banquet areas by arranging tables, chairs, linens, and décor to meet event specifications.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining excellent guest relations and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Assist with food handling, plating, and presentation to uphold high standards of quality and safety.
- Buss tables promptly after service, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
- Support catering operations by setting up stations, replenishing supplies, and managing service flow.
- Use POS systems accurately for order processing and billing when applicable.
- Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality setting is highly preferred.
- Culinary or banquet experience is a strong plus, demonstrating familiarity with food presentation and service standards.
- Knowledge of wine, beverages, and fine dining etiquette enhances guest interactions.
- Experience with food safety protocols, food handling, and basic math skills are essential for accurate service.
- Background in catering or hotel service environments is advantageous, showcasing versatility across different hospitality settings.
