Duties:
Broom Crew Monday-Thursday OR Tuesday- Friday 6:00 am-4:00 pm
- Drive a 10-wheel dump truck to haul and dispose of waste and debris collected from the sweeper trucks
- Drive/Operate a sweeper truck to clean Ada County roadways. Will train on sweeper
- Other related duties as assigned
Chip Seal/Maintenance Crew: Monday-Thursday OR Tuesday- Friday, 7:00 am-5:30 pm
- Drive a 10-wheel dump truck to haul and dump asphalt chips for the chip seal program
- Back the truck up to the chipper box while in motion, hook up and load the chipper
- Operate the roller and assist the ground crew as needed to meet project goals
- Other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- A Valid Idaho Class A CDL license (*Class B accepted for Broom Crew)
- A good driving record
- Be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, and work well independently
- Ability to follow directions on county processes and procedures
- Follow and adhere to all safety policies and regulations
- Operate all county vehicles and equipment in a safe and professional manner
- Work 10-hour shifts outdoors in all weather conditions
- Be drug-free
- Pass a background check
Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
