Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing bar operations, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or catering environments is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations.
- Engage with customers, providing friendly and attentive service while taking drink orders and making recommendations.
- Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for processing orders and managing transactions efficiently.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of drinks during busy service periods.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware; assist with ordering as needed.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality by creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
- Participate in ongoing training to improve skills in brewing, cocktail preparation, and customer service.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus; proficiency in basic math skills is essential for accurate cash handling.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours while maintaining quality service.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations within the food industry is required.
