Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Care Director to lead our early childhood education program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the child care facility, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for child development, and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and the community.
Duties
- Develop and implement educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children.
- Supervise and support teaching staff in their professional development and classroom management.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and families through regular communication and engagement.
- Manage daily operations
- Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and program effectiveness
- Manage a classroom
Experience
- A degree from a recognized university in Education Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in higher education teaching or educational administration is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to educate and mentor staff while working collaboratively with students and families.
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
