As a Payroll Clerk at Daniels Long Chevrolet, you’ll keep pay and related records accurate, timely, and compliant—supporting employees and leadership with dependable payroll administration. You will compile payroll inputs (hours, commissions/bonuses, withholdings, and benefit contributions), maintain and verify payroll master data, calculate wages and deductions, and prepare/issue paychecks. You’ll also track leave and other nontaxable pay, produce periodic earnings/tax/deduction reports. Additional duties include resolving payroll questions with professionalism and respect.
Required qualifications/skills:
- 2–4 years of related payroll experience (or equivalent education/experience)
- Clear written and verbal communication for one-on-one and small-group settings
- Strong math skills (percentages, commissions, proportions, etc.) and careful attention to detail
- Sound judgment and common-sense problem solving
