Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Residential Service Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems in residential settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, construction practices, and mechanical systems. The Residential Service Plumber will work on various projects, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction while adhering to safety standards and building codes.
Duties
- Diagnose, repair, and install residential plumbing systems, including:
- Water supply and drain lines
- Toilets, faucets, tubs, showers, and other fixtures
- Garbage disposals and basic water treatment equipment
- Perform drain and sewer cleaning, including snaking and hydro jetting when needed
- Repair and replace water heaters (standard and, where applicable, tankless/solar depending on your experience)
- Perform piping repairs and small piping projects as needed (we sub out full repipes)
- Provide clear, professional communication to homeowners—explaining options, answering questions, and building trust
- Use HouseCall Pro on a smartphone or tablet to: Receive and manage dispatched jobs, Document work (photos, notes, materials used), Build estimates and invoices, Collect payment and close out service calls.
- Maintain your truck, tools, and inventory in clean, professional condition
- Uphold our standards for professionalism, punctuality, and honest workmanship on every job
Experience
- 3+ years of experience as a residential service plumber (or equivalent hands-on field experience)
- Strong diagnostic skills for common residential plumbing issues (leaks, clogs, low pressure, etc.)
- Ability to perform core tasks independently:
- Fixture replacements (toilets, faucets, sinks, showers)
- Drain clearing and basic sewer line work
- Water heater installs/replacements
- Piping repairs
- Valid Florida driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Professional, courteous demeanor and strong communication skills with homeowners and team members
- Comfortable using HouseCall Pro (or willing to learn it quickly) to run your jobs from a phone or tablet
Nice-to-Haves:
- Florida Journeyman or Master Plumber license (or equivalent)
- Experience with light commercial service (small offices, restaurants, etc.)
Experience with: Hydro jetting equipment, Water treatment systems, Sewer Camera, Solar or tankless water heaters,

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
