Tucker's Place West is seeking a motivated, experienced cook to help round out our very talented team! Tucker's Place has been around over 40 years and we can boast that most of our staff has been with us for 10 years or more, a testament to what kind of place it is to work and the kind of teams we build here.
We are seeking an experienced cook with availability on weeknights and weekends, excluding Sundays (we are closed on Sundays).
Most shifts start at 4PM.
Background in restaurant cooking is required, specifically a knowledge of steaks and temperatures, with former restaurant grilling experience.
All kitchen positions require strong communication skills and multi-tasking ability in a high volume, fast paced environment. We look for applicants who work well with others while under pressure and who are not afraid to step up and help out when they see it is needed. Strong work ethic and reliability are strengths.
Availability and reliable transportation to be able to stay as late as 11:00pm are required.

We have both full time and part time, based on availability.
Cook positions start at $21.00/hr
This is the West County location, in Manchester MO
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow and communicate effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or culinary environment
- Restaurant grill cooking experience with steaks is required
- Strong food handling and service skills
- Excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff
