Job Summary
Silver-Spring Home Healthcare Services is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for an adult patient with a gastrostomy tube (G-tube) in the home setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with enteral feeding, medication administration, and patient monitoring while promoting safety, comfort, and quality of life.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care according to the physician's orders and care plan.
- Administer medications and nutrition via G-tube.
- Perform G-tube care, monitoring, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient status, and changes in condition.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Ensure infection control and patient safety at all times.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, supervisors, caregivers, and family members.
- Educate patient and family on prescribed treatments and care procedures.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
Qualifications
- Current Texas LVN license in good standing.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Minimum one year of nursing experience preferred.
- Experience with G-tube care and enteral feeding preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.

- Tuesday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Wednesday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Friday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
