We are a plastic injection molding company with 4 other companies operating in Minnesota and Arkansas. We are excited to announce the opening of our new manufacturing facility in Lewiston, Idaho. Position Overview:
The Plastic Injection Processing Technicians will be responsible for setting up, processing, and troubleshooting injection molding machines to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and start up injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
* Monitor production runs to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met
* Troubleshoot processing issues and make necessary adjustments
* Perform mold changes, material changes, and machine setups
* Maintain accurate production and quality records
* Work closely with quality and maintenance teams to resolve issues
* Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
* Willingness to adjust work and as needed by lead/supervisor
Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience in plastic injection molding
* Strong understanding of injection molding processes and materials
* Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work instructions
* Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings or weekends if needed
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
