Duties
- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs to recommend suitable products or services
- Assist customers with retail sales transactions, including processing cash and electronic payments accurately
- Handle cash drawer management, ensuring precise cash handling and reconciliation at shift end
- Support retail lending activities by explaining financial products and assisting with loan processing or collections when necessary
- Maintain accurate data entry for customer accounts, sales records, and financial transactions using relevant software systems
- Conduct basic math calculations for transactions, discounts, or loan payments to ensure accuracy
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
Qualifications
- Previous retail store experience or familiarity with retail sales environments preferred
- Knowledge of banking or financial services is a plus, especially in retail lending or loan collections
- Strong basic math skills and proficiency in data entry and cash handling procedures
- Experience with cash drawer handling, cashiering, and cash management techniques essential
- Ability to operate financial software and perform 10 key typing efficiently for processing transactions
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced setting
