Job Summary
We are seeking a caring and responsible Babysitter to provide attentive supervision and nurturing support to my 6 month old son in a private residence or designated setting. This role involves ensuring the safety, well-being, and engagement of my son while fostering a positive environment. The ideal candidate will be energetic, reliable, and passionate about child care, ready to create a fun and secure atmosphere for kids of various ages. This job is only 3 to 4 hours.
Responsibilities
- Supervise children during daily activities, playtime, meals, naps, and outings to ensure their safety at all times
- Prepare and serve nutritious snacks and meals tailored to children’s dietary needs
- Engage children with age-appropriate activities that promote development and creativity
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up toys, clothes, and play areas
- Assist with homework or educational activities as needed
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children’s progress, needs, or any concerns
- Manage emergency situations calmly and efficiently, following established safety protocols
Requirements
- Proven experience in personal service roles with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, adolescents, and elderly individuals if applicable
- Strong understanding of child safety practices and first aid certification preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with children and parents alike
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with energy and enthusiasm
- Reliable transportation for flexible scheduling or outings if necessary
- Experience working in private residences or similar environments is highly desirable
- Needs to speak both Spanish and English
