Position Summary
We are seeking an organized and results-driven Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial construction and renovation projects throughout the Columbus area.
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing projects from contract award through closeout. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining budgets, schedules, and exceptional client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, clients, architects, and field supervisors.
- Review plans, specifications, and project documents.
- Prepare and process subcontracts, purchase orders, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Track project costs and ensure projects remain within budget.
- Review invoices, subcontractor pay applications, and project billing.
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues affecting cost or schedule.
- Conduct project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients and project stakeholders.
- Support field supervisors by coordinating resources, materials, and project logistics.
- Ensure projects meet quality standards and contract requirements.
- Manage project closeout, punch lists, warranties, and final documentation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial construction management experience.
- Experience managing commercial renovation projects, including office, retail, restaurant, healthcare, or light industrial facilities.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and scheduling.
- Experience with budgeting, cost tracking, and change order management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software (Procore, QuickBid, PlanHub, On-Screen Takeoff, ConstructConnect, Autodesk,Bluebeam or similar).
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- OSHA certification.
- Experience with estimating or preconstruction is a plus.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
