Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced cook for grill side to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in food preparation, menu planning, and food safety, with a passion for delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a professional with extensive kitchen experience, fine dining skills, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food handling. Duties
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications
- Assist with menu planning and develop new culinary ideas to enhance offerings
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations throughout shifts
- Manage food inventory, restocking supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Serve dishes professionally, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
- Assist with catering events and special functions as required
- Support other kitchen staff with meal preparation and plating as needed
Skills
- Extensive culinary experience, including fine dining and restaurant environments
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in menu planning and meal preparation for diverse dietary needs
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Background in dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Familiarity with catering services and food service operations
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices in culinary arts
