Job Title: Print Vinyl Installer / Sign Installer
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Print Vinyl Installer / Sign Installer to join our team. This role is responsible for the professional installation of vinyl graphics, vehicle wraps, interior and exterior signage, window graphics, wall murals, and other visual communication products. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service while working safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Install a variety of printed vinyl graphics, including:
- Vehicle lettering and partial/full wraps
- Window graphics and perforated film
- Wall murals and interior graphics
- Floor graphics
- Dimensional lettering
- Banners and decals
- Install interior and exterior signs, including:
- Channel letters
- Monument and post-and-panel signs
- ADA signage
- Directional and wayfinding signage
- Prepare surfaces for installation by cleaning, measuring, and ensuring proper alignment.
- Read and interpret work orders, production drawings, and installation instructions.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and lifts safely.
- Perform site surveys and verify installation requirements.
- Troubleshoot installation challenges and make field adjustments as necessary.
- Load, transport, and unload materials while protecting finished products from damage.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Complete installation documentation, photos, and customer sign-offs.
- Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and team members.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and customer expectations.
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company safety procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in vinyl graphics installation, sign installation, or a related trade preferred.
- Experience installing vehicle wraps and large-format graphics is a plus.
- Ability to read tape measures accurately and perform basic math calculations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work overhead for extended periods.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with:
- Vehicle wraps and fleet graphics
- Vinyl application techniques (wet and dry)
- Large-format print finishing
- Electrical sign installation (preferred but not required)
- Bucket truck or aerial lift operation
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Familiarity with sign industry materials and installation best practices.
- Ability to work occasional overtime or travel for installations when required.
