Job Title: Prep Cook
Hours: 10:30AM- 7:00PM | 40 hours a week, including every other weekend
Starting Pay Rate: $19.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Prepare and cook meals according to menus, recipes, and prep sheets
- Complete advance food prep and batch cooking as needed
- Operate kitchen equipment and monitor proper cooking temperatures
- Perform food temperature checks and ensure quality through tasting
- Prepare food for delivery to multiple dining areas and provide backup support
- Maintain accurate prep records and properly store food items
- Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Assist coworkers and perform other duties as assigned
- Comply with Code of Conduct, Corporate Compliance, and HIPAA requirements
Experience/Education
- Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or a minimum, of one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Background in Country Club and/or Retirement Community setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
